Photography has been a love of mine even before but especially since I was gifted a vintage SLR film camera that my friend rescued from a salvage yard over 25 years ago. Over the years I was able to upgrade my cameras and have spent many happy years travelling the globe taking photos. The advent of smartphones and their amazing photography capabilities have made it even easier to capture photos on the go (and with less worry about little hands destroying expensive camera equipment).

Food photography really is very easy, when working with professionals who know how to plate beautifully.
Depending on the cuisine and the style, the right backdrop, texture and filter can make all the difference with eye poppingly delicous results.
Food styling conveys a certain appetite.
I have worked extensively with food over the last eight years. While we’re all clambering for attention, I feel that conveying authenticity and style works best as a marketing tool. Working with clients, understanding their food, understanding their market helps to create the best images of their spectacular menus.
